Intention

"Why do I want to sit with Kambo?"

You feel the call of Kambo—you are ready for a deep cleanse and healing?

Before stepping into this sacred process, we invite you to take a moment to reflect on your intention

Setting a clear intention allows you to bring deep awareness to the reasons that brought you here. Kambo is a

powerful medicine that works on all levels—physical, emotional, and spiritual—helping you to release what no

longer serves you. Your intention acts as a guide for this process, providing clarity and direction for your healing

journey.

At the same time, Kambo requires trust and surrender. The more you allow yourself to feel safe and let go of

control, the deeper the medicine can work within you. Kambo knows the way to all the locked gates within your

body; it is up to you to open yourself to the experience and embrace the transformation.

If you are unsure about your intention, know that you are not alone. We are here to support you in gaining clarity,

and we welcome you to share your intention with us before your session. Together, we will create a space where

you can step into your healing journey with openness and trust.

Getting Ready

Diet

- At least 8 hours before the Kambo session, do not eat anything. Avoid coffee, tea, smoothies, and soups during this period. Drinking water in normal amounts is allowed.

- At least 24 hours before and after Kambo, do not consume alcohol or any other drugs.

- We recommend eating light, fresh, and steamed vegetables, soups, fruits, rice, and quinoa the day before your session. Try to avoid excess sugar, starchy foods, and heavy fats.

What to consider

- Set aside approximately three hours for the treatment and the following rest period. Ideally, the rest of your day should be free of work or stressful commitments.

- For women: Please be aware that Kambo can increase menstrual bleeding for up to three days after the session.

What to bring

- Wear comfortable clothing in layers. An ideal base layer is a sleeveless shirt. Please also bring a change of clothes.

- If you have long hair, bring a hair tie or headband.

- You are welcome to bring light snacks for after the ceremony. Fresh fruit, probiotics (such as sauerkraut), and coconut water are well-tolerated and beneficial.

The Process of a Session

Getting Started

A Kambo session typically lasts around two to three hours.

Before the treatment, we take time for an in-depth conversation to prepare you for the process and clarify your intention for the session. We will also review the questionnaire you filled out to ensure everything is aligned for a safe and supportive experience.

To prepare the body for detoxification, you will drink about 1,5 to 2 liters of water. This water serves as an essential transport medium to assist in the cleansing process. While drinking, the “Gates” —small superficial burns—are created on your skin. We usually apply them on the left upper arm. Most people experience little to no pain during this process since only the top layer of skin is affected.

Next, the Kambo secretion, formed into small dots, is placed on the Gates. This allows the Kambo to enter the lymphatic system , where it spreads throughout the body. We typically work in steps, applying the secretion gradually to avoid overwhelming the system. This means Kambo is administered in increments until the desired effect is achieved.

What You Might Experience

Each individual’s reaction to Kambo varies, but a common sequence of effects may include:

A wave of heat rushing through your body. An increased heart rate and throbbing sensation in the head. A drop in blood pressure, followed by nausea and abdominal cramping. Vomiting—the water you drank before the session serves as a vehicle to flush out toxins and impurities. In addition to vomiting, other detox reactions may include: Trembling or shaking. Profuse sweating. The urge for bowel movements.

Kambo works on physical, emotional, and energetic levels, meaning that deep emotions may also surface. Some people experience sadness, aggression, or even pleasant sensations as part of the release. The intensity of Kambo’s effects is strong yet brief, typically lasting between 20 to 45 minutes . Once the purging phase is complete, relief usually follows immediately. The Kambo secretion is removed , and Dragon’s Blood

(a natural tree resin) is applied to the treated areas to support wound healing.

.

After The Session

After a resting period of about 30 minutes or as long as needed, we conclude with a closing and integration conversation. Many people feel deeply relaxed and revitalized afterward.

Some of Kambo’s benefits are felt immediately, while others unfold over the following days. The Gates on your skin will remain visible for some time, and the healing process varies depending on your skin type and the location of the application

Each session with Kambo is a unique journey, a reset for body, mind, and spirit

It is an honor for us to support you on your journey!
